- Dilopho's frilled appearance is most likely based on its role in the movie "Jurassic Park".
- There is no fossil evidence to support that Dilophosaurus—the genus Dilopho is based on—had any form of head ornamentation besides the two crests which give the creature its name. However, with that said, there is a chance (albeit slim) that they did exist. Frills do not contain bones, just cartilage, which does not fossilize very often.
- Dilopho, along with Delta, is compatible with every single vivosaur in Fossil Fighters and Fossil Fighters: Champions with the exception of the Boneysaurs, the Zombiesaurs, Carno, Cerato, Igno, and Frigi.
