- Dilopho's frilled appearance is most likely based on its role in the movie "Jurassic Park".
- There is no fossil evidence to support that Dilophosaurus--the genus Dilopho is based on--had any form of head ornamentation besides the two crests which give the creature its name. However, with that said, there is a chance (albeit slim) that they did exist. Frills do not contain bones, just cartilage, which does not fossilize.
- Dilopho, along with Delta, is compatible with every single vivosaur in Fossil Fighters and Fossil Fighters: Champions with the exception of the Boneysaurs, the Zombiesaurs, Carno, Cerato, Igno, and Frigi.
