Summary[]
The series starts with a boy who's very excited to be at Vivosuar Island, as they stop, he rushes out while ignoring a advice but then he unintentionally knocks out something from a girl's hand. He sees something bouncing at the same direction he's heading then he stops to pick up the item then a dinosaur is summoned which he's amazed to see a real dinosaur then the girl calls Venator back, she tells him to not touch her property but the boy (who reveals his name is Hunter) wants to know how can he be a Fossil Fighter then she tells him that he must know the basic first. He then heads to the Center and their host named Dr. Diggins who teaches them how to be a Fossil Fighter, they first have to clean a fossil first then as everyone is cleaning their fossil, Wendy asks him if he sees anyone who seems promising which he responds with a boy. As he finishes he puts it in a house since he believes they couldn't stay warm since they're fossils, Diggins laughs at that comment then Wendy scans it which he gets a good score, Hunter then takes his revived Vivosuar to the Stadium, the announcer introduces Hunter & Rosie which he instantly recognized from that girl he met earlier. Rosie gets angry at him for writing "Hunter" at Venator's forehead. Hunter apologies and then Rosie tells him he should give up since he has no chance to beat her and become a Fossil Fighter, which he responds with he doesn't "want" to become one because he "will" be one. She gets angry then commands Venator to viciously attack Spinax, Diggins is upset how she's attacking a recruit like that so he tells Hunter that he doesn't need to continue but he responds to him that he can still continue since his Vivosuar "told" him, Diggins' is confused if he can "hear" Spinax's voice. Hunter looks at the status screen and unexpectedly he's winning due to the auto counter, Rosie commands to finish him and so her Vivosuar attack from above, Hunter then commands Spinax to have his back face Venator and when he landed the auto counter finished him off, Hunter is happy he won and now he gets his Fighter Licence.
