Prescott can first be found outside the Fossil Park Europe building talking with Frett and after the Player and their Paleo Pals collectively do a minimum of 10 Boost Skills. They reveal that they are Fossil Battlers, Fossil Fighters, who specialize in battles. They challenge the Player to a tag battle at the Yodel Hills and Prescott reveals their vivosaurs in advance. After defeating them the two become Paleo Pals.
In the post game Prescott can once again be found with Frett at the stadium at Fossil Park Europe. When talked to, they invite the Player to join them in a fossil tournament called the rising star rumpus. After winning the tournament Prescott and Frett become Super Paleo Pals.
